Resilient Neighborhoods

Resilient Neighborhoods Program

The Resilient Neighborhoods Program helps connect neighborhood groups in unincorporated Adams County with resources and support from the county. The program focuses on building stronger communities, creating safe and healthy neighborhoods, preparing for emergencies, and improving communication between neighbors and the county.

Neighborhood Group Phases

  • Individual Interest: Are you interested in participating in a neighborhood group? Start by reaching out to see if an active group already exists in your area! Email us at sparc@adcogov.org with the name of your neighborhood and your address to get connected to the leaders of an existing group. If there is no active group in your area, Adams County can help you start your own!
  • Building Phase: New groups working on getting more members, setting goals, and planning activities. Adams County offers support to help your group get organized.
  • Partnership Phase: Established groups can officially register with Adams County to access more resources, like help promoting events, working with county departments, and connecting with other neighborhood leaders.

This program supports neighborhoods at every step of their journey to becoming stronger and more connected.
